Credit score does not discriminate on the grounds of sex, gender, religion, race, disability or colour.

Why was I declined?

If your application has been declined, it is normally due to one, or a combination of the following:

  • Your credit score (please note that every will score you differently)
  • Your age (for example being under 18)
  • Your existing account performance with existing lenders
  • Adverse credit reference agency information

·         Can I re-apply if my finance application is unsuccessful?

Yes. Just because one of your applications may have previously been declined, finance companies acknowledge that circumstances change, and therefore allow further applications. However, it is advised that you wait at least 6 months before trying to apply again.
